Update after laptmy

Ok. I went for my follow up 33 days after laparotomy cystectomy. The doc had no instructions whasoever. She just asked me to get an ultrasound after 6 months in the other ovary as this can recurr. She also asked me to try for a baby after my next periods asap and gave me folic acid. If I conceive the ultrasound will be done anyway. Actually, I did not know that we had to personally carry the biopsy report to the doc and I did not. Anyway, it spoke of a non-malignant complex cyst and the doctor had only given 1% to ca. So I have decided to take to my family practitioner in my new place where I have to travel to this sat. Also, I still have pressure initially when I urinate at times. She asked to do a routine urine test for infection.
So thats the news from my side.

I still have a v v v mild pain in the abdomen when I touch it. Is it natural to have it for a month or two? I forgot to ask my gynec when the issue of the biopsy came up. The stitches are dissolving by themselves. She did an u/s and said I was ok for pregnancy. Is there anything else I need to take care of while trying for a baby?

It can take a little while for your cycles to get normal again.  Just have fun with it.

Thanks...We get confused when docs don't say anything. Then we wait for to give advice. I have to do mild wait lifting whatsoever. I had a long journey with periods on tow and I an worn out.I have 24-25 days periods and I think this time its 22 days this month. Is that normal?

Continue to take it easy for a few more weeks - no heavy lifting or twisting and you may find you still get wore out.  Sounds like you are recovering really well and I wish you luck with your TTC.
