Hello. I'm 14 and underwent surgery 7 months ago. I had an ovarian cyst of 20 cm removed along with one of my ovaries and with a part of the tube too. My belly is STILL SWOLLEN and whenever it comes to ab exercises, I feel uncomfortable and I totally forgot to tell my gynaecologist at the clinic.
HI,
It would be best to go slow on your exercise routine. This is because internal healing will take some time. Also the exercise you are planning is of the strenuous type. Gradual increase depending on your body’s response to the exercise will be best. It may take 3 to 6 months to get back to your pre-surgery exercise routine. Hope this helps.
Take care.
