nervous

My pain hasn't gotten worse, but it's changed. It no longer feels like cramps, but like I'm being pricked by tiny needles. I have no idea what this means but it's scaring me.

I'm fine now, except I'm hoarse from talking too much, lol. I already knew that thing about vitamin c, I always keep some on hand.

stress is also hard on our bodies...man do i know it!!  remember to take vitamin c...when i feel a cold coming on my family doc told me to take 3,000 mg in the morning and 3,000 before i go to bed, and it has ALWAYS kicked it for me!!! have to tell ya tho..there is a flip side to it..it may cause loose stools. lol...not bad tho. also dont worry ..what our body doesnt need we will pee out. so it may sound like alot of vitamin c but it wont hurt you. hope you get well soon!!   dont worry thinking the fever is a bad sign as far as your cyst goes...you have a cold..BUT..i will say..if your fever is high you need to call your family doc so they can rule out swine flu. let us know how you are!!

I know that cysts can mess with your cycle, so that very well could be what is going on with you. I came down with a cold yesterday and woke up with a fever. I don't get sick very easily and when I do it goes away quickly. I'm still feeling gross and I hope it has nothing to do with my cysts. i know fever can be a result of an infection.

sounds like a good plan! i know im nervous about my obgyn too...she doesnt know what type mine is for sure either..she said ..well. it could be a fibroma or maybe a dermoid but it doesnt have the classic look as a dermoid since she didnt see fatty stuff. the only reason she said she wouldnt rule out a dermoid is because there are white areas within the solid part. its fluid and solid around that. no septations. and not a perfect circle. im really scared. now ive been spotting. havent had my period for over a year. i had spotted before that and sine ive had this cyst my periods have been sooo messed up..but this obgyn said i must be menopausal, i dont think so tho! my sister is three years older than me and still has her periods. do you know if this is a symptom of cysts? and should i worry even tho ive had this for three years could i be spotting because its cancerous? would i have other symptoms if it were? see. im a mess with worry! making myself crazy!

my sister recently had surgery for stage 4 endo and removal of large cysts (1 ruptured). the lady who did the surgery did an amazing job so I'm switching doctors so I can see her too. The one I currently have didn't tell me anything about my cysts except their size. She clearly doesn't want to help me so I'm not going to see her anymore. She said such stupid things that I just can't look past them. I may have to pay to see my sister's endo specialist out of pocket, but I don't care. At least someone competent will be taking care of me. I have a 3 year old and I need to be here for her. I'll always believe that women are pretty good at understanding what is going on with their own bodies, so push for what you want/need!

they could be getting bigger...do you know if they are fluid filled or complex? I know what youre going through..believe me i do...ive been dealing with the same cyst/tumor for three years and the reason i didnt get it out back then is due to no insurance. had to get a new gyno a few weeks ago..and had transvaginal ultrasound showing it has gone from 4.6cm to 8.6cm in three years time...doc isnt sure if its a dermoid or what..it has fluid in the center and solid around it, no septations. but since i havent had a "normal" period for over a year she said i must be menapausal now...then the other night i spotted and now im really worried. you know, we read so many things on the internet and learn just enough to scare us! I have another appt with her in two days so im in hope she will lesson my fears..but who knows..might freak me out more. she has already scheduled me for surgery on jan 8th for a hysterectomy...thinking i dont need those parts since she thinks im penopausal....but i dont think i am...im 46 and have an older sister who is still having normal periods. its hard to trust a doctor when you dont know them plus she has only been a doc for 4 years...i keep thinking that maybe thats a good thing because she is still fresh with all the new info. lol. Keep us posted on how you are!!
