Some advice please cyst & frequent urination

I am 28 years old and am at my end!  I have been through hell.  I always get ovarian cysts that usually disolve on their own with my period.  I had a laporoscopy at 21 and this month my 2 cysts on both ovaries seems to be hurting me extremely bad, the doctor told me it has stuff inside of it and wants me to go back on BC pills.  Starting about 2 weeks ago I have been having very frequent urination wound up going to 2 different urologists with 1 of them telling me I might have insterstitial cystitis without performing any procedure to actually diagnose me!  The other one told me I might have an acute cystitis which is an inflammation of the bladder lining and gave me medication again!  Now I woke up today and I am not able to urinate and have to go so bad (the medication is not allowing me to go) so I am stopping it.  Now I never had bladder issues in my life and am reading up and it says ovarian cysts can cause frequent urination.  I want to just cry, i'm going to be my own doctor!  I am in so much pain and now I can't start the BC pills until another 2.5 weeks because I am mid cycle.  :(

Thanks so much!  It was the medication that was causing me to be unable to urinate.  I stopped the medication and I am better now.  :)
I went to my gynecologist and he did the transvaginal sono, I do have a cyst with stuff inside of it, so now I am just waiting for 2 weeks to go by till I get my period in order to start the BC pills ah!

Christine1981, I am so sorry that you are in so much pain.  I understand your frustrations!!  What you need to do is call your gynecologist and tell him that you want to have a transvaginal ultrasound because you are in terrible pain and you are not able to urinate.  You could always go to the ER if the pain is really bad.  They will probably do a transvaginal ultrasound along with a urine test.  That way you would know exactly what is going on.  Yes, ovarian cyst can cause frequent and painful urination.  Please do not let this pass.  You know your body better than anyone, and if it is telling you something isn't right then it probably isn't.  Listen to what you body is telling you.  Please keep us posted on how you are doing.  Good luck and sending prayers your way.
