when to be concerned?

Have burning pain in private area, freqent urinatin, dull ache beneath rib cage in center...all symptoms lasting 4 months now.  I have a fibroid and had a cyst,it went away.  Periods have become short (1-2 days) and light, kinda brownish, and sloughy looking skin like?  I have been to doc a lot lately and am on neurontin for pain, and detrol.  I am concerned abot the silent killer Ovarian cancer...I had endoscopy which was fine, I have had ultrasonds(pelvic and of area that hurts).  Had cat scan and cytoscopy which showed cystitis (urine shows no infection).  lost 20 lbs-I was 140, now 120.  I feel hungry even after I eat..never has happened inpast.  Always healthy in past--all started 4 months ago with blood in urine.  I feel something not right, but not getting any answers.

Meant to mention.... the cystitis will cause burning, and frequent urination and blood in the urine.. (used to get that frequently)  so I'd check further with that..

Again, speak to your Dr. about your symptoms. If you're not satisfied with the answers given , seek another opinion. An Transvaginal U.S. would have spotted anything wrong with your ovaries.

The best test for you to have would be the Transvaginal Ultrasound, which you probably already have had.  There's no reason to suspect cancer at this point.. Actually , a lot of women with ovarian Cancer feel full even after eating a small amount, so your symptoms of still being hungry are contrary to that.

Speak to your Dr. again, and if you don't feel satisfied with the answers you are given, go for a second opinion.

Good luck
