Hey Jollly,

You know you have friends here and we'll answer you post even if you put it in the wrong forum. I am sorry you are hurting more. We all can relate to that.

We have been having a debate here regarding that very subject. And as I said on another thread I beleive a bit of both. I think your condition may be deteriorating and therefore your pain increasing.

I know that you have other medical issues that may not make you a good candidate for surgery. However I agree with Molly. I think you owe it to yourself to have a MRI to see if they can determine the cause of your increased pain. At the very least you should be more comfortable than what you currently are.

Hang in there friend. We are always here for you. Please let us know how you are doing. You always try to help and support everyone on MH, let us do the same for you. Take Care of yourself, Tuck

Hi Jolly:

Sorry to hear that your getting worse with your back. I can answer some of this question.

It sounds like your body is doing both. It is getting worse and you are becoming tolorant to the meds. When was the last time you had an increase? It sounds like the Doc could bump your meds up a bit. Also, I think your due for another MRI. Herniated discs can and do get worse with time. Mine did. I eventually had to have a fusionbecause my herniation just kept getting worse with time.

Please go back to your Doctor, maybe even an Orthopedist or Neurosurgeon and see what they say. I wouldn't be suprised if they scheduled you for surgery.

Please take care Jolly and I really hope you can get the medical world to make you more comfortable until you can get soem answers.

Molly
