Anyone ever heard of

Anyone ever heard of Combunox? Is it prescribed in the US?
I read online that it is Oxycodone and Ibuprofen.
Anyone else ever heard of it? Is it more effective than Percocet?

Thank you two! I am on Oxycodone (immediate release) 15mg so I am going to stay with what I have and not ask the doctor any questions... I was excited for a minute, that maybe there was something new out that would work better... but.... I will stay with what I have for now... thanks again!

Everyone reacts differently to different medicines. The only difference between Combunox and percocet is the added ingredient. Percocet has acetaminophen and the Combunox has ibuprofen.
It just depends on what works best for you and you will have to try each one to see how it would work for you.
Percocet comes in various strength's and to my understanding the combunox only comes in one which is 400mg ibuprophen/ 5 mg oxycodone.
So if you needed a higher strengh it would be better to stay with the Percocet than ingesting the extra ibuprofen.
I hope this answered your question:)

Yes, from what I read, it is a rather new brand of Oxycodone and Ibuprophen. It is distributed in the US. I think we will hear more about the drug as time goes on.

There is good info on the drug on the web.

My best,
