Hi Adi,
Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum. I am sorry to hear about your pain but happy that you found us and took the time to post.
Runningmom is correct. It is very difficult to suggest medication for another person. I would not even suggest Ibuprofen without knowing your medical background.
Until you are able to discuss this with your physician I suggest that you talk to your local pharmacist. Our pharmacists are really the experts in medication. In my opinion their knowledge and skills are often under utilized. They can be such a great resource.
Best of luck to you. I hope your discs will soon heal and in the mean time find something to ease your pain.
Peace,
~Tuck
You will have to go to your doctor or pain management doctor and find out what works best for you. What works great for me may not even touch your pain. I have bad discs in my neck and the medicine I'm on only takes the edge off if I'm laying in bed or on the couch and not moving around. Going to a doctor and suggesting medicine is not a good idea.
Right now, take ibuprofen and ice your neck. I still have to ice my neck just about 24 hours a day, it's been two years for me.
