Stronger than norco?
Hi :) I have metastatic breast cancer, and for almost 4 years now I've been taking norco 10/325. Lately however it's not working as well. I have a dr appointment in a few days and will ask him, but I was wondering what he might prescribe me? What would be the next "step" up so to speak? I need something that will help...so tired of being in pain!

You've been on the same medication for a long time. This works for some of us. With others, after that long of a time on the same med we need a change. There are a lot of other pain medications you and your Dr can choose from.
I can't recommend anything but I would think your next step might be Percocet or Oxycodone. They're pretty much the same medication but Oxycodone doesn't contain Acetaminophen.
Be completely honest with your Dr about what's going on. There's no need for you to suffer needlessly.
