It means that yes you do have carpal tunnel syndrome but that it is not very bad or "very mild". This is not part of the condition "carpal Tunnel" but a modifier which explains the level of the problem. This sound like it is low. Carpal tunnel refers to an area in your wrist through which stuff passes. It can be constricted and the surgery that they do is one day, outpatient and it just opens up t he tunnel so the constriction goes away. Sorry about the technical term "stuff". Sometimes I just forget the proper word for something. I know it's not because I'm getting old or anything like that. Heck, I'm just a spring chicken.
