A tip for nausea...

If anyone has nausea from their pain meds, I tried Emetrol yesterday with my Lyrica/Hydrocodone. I am not sure what makes me sick, I think everything at this point. But this over the counter liquid, 1 TBS for adults, worked wonders. Did not make me sleeply like other antinausea meds out there. Just posting in case it can help someone else have a better day because it's bad enough to have pain, but the side effects that come with it are just too much some days!
But of course, check with your doctor before adding anything, even OTC drugs to your cocktails....

Thanks for posting this information. I take Prilosec as I have chronic GERD and it helps my nausea also. I have not tried Emetrol but I will check with my physician.

The website says it contains sugar and diabetics should be cautious when taking it, along with women that may be pregnant. It also states, Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with Emetrol Solution. However, no specific interactions with Emetrol Solution are known at this time.

So again that you for posting this information. For those of us that fight nausea it may be beneficial. And as you said everyone should consult with their PCP before taking any OTC medication.

Peace,
~Tuck

Thanks for posting your remedy. It's well worth a call to our Dr's to check it out. I used to take that years ago(before I was on pain meds). I'd forgotten about it!! It does work wonders. Don't know if it will interfere with the numerous meds that I'm on but worth finding out about it.

Thank again....Sherry
