Please help, 37 yr old female.

I have been dealing with chest pains, Back pains, left shoulder pains and headaches for over a month. I've had 3 left knee surgery's in the last 1 1/2. None of these problems were present since this last surgery. I even get abdominal pains and nausea in the middle of my chest. I've had a clear x-ray of my chest. Ekg and echo of heart were normal too. No pain when sleeping. I wake up with headaches evry morning then on sight of pain in back and chest. I really need to know what is wrong. My Dr. has even tried me on anxiety meds. No help. Is there a certain Dr. to go and see! I even see a choropractor 2 times a week.

You are welcome.

Your PCP is wise to try Prilosec. GERD and/or gastric disturbances can have some unusual and painful symptoms.

Please let us know if it is effective. I appreciate your update.

Peace,

Thanks for your help and concern. I did go to another Dr. yesterday. They decided to try me on Prilosec for 30 days. I will let you know my findings or if I have any changes!

Hi Lsheetah,

I admit your problems are puzzling. Have you seen a rheumatologist? How about a gastroenterologist? Those are the two specialities that I would consult.

I am really sorry that you do not have any answers yet. I know how very frustrating that can be. Many of us have searched for years to find a diagnosis. I hope it does not take you that long.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that you will keep in touch. I will be interested to learn what you discover.

Take Care,
~Tuck
