I want to thank everyone for their input and wishes. I'm going in for a maelogram this week. I've had a few of them in the past, they're painful but the graphics are so much better. Hopefully I'll know the results by the end of the week, the sooner the better. The faster it can be fixed (insert prayer here). I still haven't heard from the insurance company that represents the business at where i got injured. So i have that to worry about on top the constant pain.
Hi jbashor,
Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am sorry to hear about your slip and near fall. Sometimes "catching" ourselves can be worse then the actual fall.
It's been five days. If the pain was going to subside I think it would have by now. You may have just injured muscles, ligaments, etc... and I don't mean to say "just" because it can be very painful. Indeed those injuries can take longer to heal then a fracture. That said it's time to consult your PCP.
You may require some imaging to determine if you have "rearranged" the hardware or damaged the structure above or below the area that was repaired. Make that call and please let us know how you are doing.
I'll be interested to hear from you soon.
Peace,
~Tuck
Hi I am sorry to hear of your pain. Have you called your doctor? You might want to go in to be checked. Since you recently had surgery it is probably important to talk to the doctor.
I wish you the best.
