NEED SOME HELP WITH PAIN IN BREAST

I'm a mom of three who has had an infection in my breast for two and a half years.  I've had four surgries on it to try to remove the infection.  I now have fluid leaking into my breast and don't know what to do to help with the pain.  My doctor told me to take ibuprofen to help with it,  but it is not helping much anymore and can not get thru to my doctor.  I have three children under the age of five that i would like to play with more and be able to hold them without much pain.  If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.  Thanks I'm new on here.

I am so sorry your having all this trouble. You should definitely let the Dr know you need some pain control! If need be get a second opinion or have your Dr refer you to pain management. You can not live in this pain day in day out and have quality of life.
If there's anything I can do to help please let me know.

It sounds like you are having a tough time of things and have had for awhile.  I had years and year of female troubles.  I often would have additional problems as a result of things that were done to treat the initial problem as well i.e. surgeries etc..  From the history you state of multiple surgeries and a long lasting infection it would seem to me that your Dr. should realize that you may have a great deal of discomfort.  I guess I have a few questions before trying to give you any advice.  Have you ever been prescribed prescription pain medication for any of this?  If so did it help?  After surgery if you were given pain meds did they help?  Have the surgeries resolved any of your problems and is the infection getting better or is it a chronic condition?  Do you have a treatment plan?  Do you know what caused the initial infection?
