Try calling the hospitals (preferably a teaching hospital) in your area and explain that you are calling for a referral to see a specialist to treat your condition. Or, you can do a Google search, which is probably the route to go, as you may be able to read reviews from actual patients who have been treated by the various physicians to help assist you in narrowing down your choice.
I'm sorry if you were expecting a name and phone number, but times have changed -- even in the grocery store self-check out. You are your number one health care advocate. It will take effort and time on your part, but in the end it will pay off tenfold.
Hi Bfla1: I'd like to welcome you to the Pain Management forum. We are a community of chronic pain sufferers and not doctors. But we do have many savvy people here like Brenndy. She just gave you some very good advice.
We don't normally do doctor referrals here. It's just not a good idea for most. What would be a great doctor for me may not work for you at all.
Another option you might try is through your insurance carrier. They normally do have lists on line for referral.
I wish you luck. I do hope you find relief soon.
Sara

I just put "DREZ procedure" into my search engine and got a bunch of hits. I use dogpile.com.
Thank you all for your replies. I have been googling for a while now & just haven't found any one who has had the operation to ask them about thier results. I realize I will not get a referral from this site but I truly appreciate all of your responses, bfla2
