Need help identifying chest pain

The last few days I've had what I would consider a tightness or sharp pain in my chest, near my heart and left lung. I thought it was gas at first but it hasn't gone away. I experience this pain when I bring my arms/shoulders closer to each other in a rather quick manner - it's not every time and it takes a specific type of movement. I've read that this may be a nerve stuck behind my rib cage?
It does not hurt when I breathe or cough which is why I believe it is not a major concern. However, my concern is growing because this pain reminds me of a very specific pain I sometimes receive after holding in a sneeze. Sometimes when I hold a sneeze unbearable pain runs through my arms, shoulders, and chest and lasts for up to 2-3 minutes. On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate it an 8 or 9. The pain in my chest is at a 5 or 6 but the feeling is very similar.

I believe these problems may be related, should I be worried? I will bring this up to my doctor next week but I'd like to educate myself before doing so.

Age: 27
Weight: 240
Height: 5'10"
BMI: 35
Blood Pressure: 130/72 (I've always been borderline)
LDL Cholestoral: 106 (up from 89 last year)
Blood Glucose: 95

No history of heart disease in my family.
I'm a computer programmer, but stress levels have been extremely low for at least 3 months now. I ain't got no worries. I've been having sleeping issues by waking up at 6:00 am every day no matter what time I go to bed. This has been going on for about 3 weeks. I'm average 6-7 hours of sleep and I do feel tired but I've never in my life not felt tired having to work a 8-5 job. Seems like I'm waking up earlier every year.

I occasionally take 10mg of Adderall averaging 4-6 times a month) and have been on medication for ADD since I was 5 years old (used to take daily until college).

How old are you? What is your weight and height (or BMI)? Any history of heart disease in the family? Do you smoke? Are you in good general health? Any other chronic disease? What kind of job do you have -- is it stressful? Blood pressure, pulse, respiration, O2 saturation?

These are the kinds of questions a family doctor would ask to diagnose your condition. He / she would also want to see your skin color, look in your mouth, take your pulse, listen to your heart, etc.

Anytime you suspect cardiovascular disease, see your doctor.
