I am home finally

Hi everyone ! I just wanted to let ya'll know that I am home from the hospital after what seemed like forever .I am very weak but better than I was .I will be seeing a gastroenterologist as I still have no answers to what is going on with me .I will keep this short as I can barely sit up but I just wanted to let my MH family know I was okay .Thanks for all the prayers and to Mama Sherry and mummy3too for the uplifting pm's .You all are the greatest !

Thanks everyone ! I have the best family here !  It is heartwarming to read all of your responses . Your support means more than you know .I have been really down with this and it has been rough to deal with .I just want to find out what is causing this and find the best way to treat it .Karen ,I have had my gallbladder removed  and they did some tests .I was at a small hospital and they didn't have a gastro on staff so I assume when I see him that I will have more tests .I had a fever and severe abdominal pain and they said I was inflamed .I also was having diarrhea which with the vomiting left me dehydrated .I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy in March and my surgeon said then that he thought it was IBS .I am not convinced of that and I don't think he really is either so it's a toss up to what is wrong .My pcp thinks it is Chrons so I am anxious to see this gastroenterologist  .It seems like it is getting worse as time goes on .After I was hospitalized last time it took forever to build myself back up so I know this is going to be a struggle .I just need answers .Thanks again to all of you .

You know I understand how you feel. Did they check you out for gallstones, hernia, ulcers, stuff like that while you were in the hospital.  Did you have any fevers, abdominal pain, or infection? I'm so sorry your going through this, I totally know what it's like to be in the hospital for days at a time. Feel better soon!

Welcome Back Our Dear Melissa,

We are so glad that you have returned...but sorry that you have no answers and are feeling so weak. My heart goes out to you. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.

Get some rest but please keep us posted on how you are doing. We're here for you. Please be good to yourself. Remember to do what comforts you the most.

Yep, they won.. played Washington County. Tonight their game will be televised live online and tv.

Thanks ya''ll ! You really know how to make someone feel good ! Karen I went in Mon night and got out Fri afternoon .My Dr doesn't really know what is causing this thats why she is ending me to a specialist who I pray can figure this out .I have been hospitalized 3 times for this since Jan .Mum it's a nice drive along the backroads to Springfield .Did your son's team win ? I don't keep up as much since my son Matt graduated but we went to all of his games and I always enjoyed it .I do have stack of movies to watch I just hope it doesn't storm too much .Mama Sherry I am really grateful for my friends .You have been so good to me and I appreciate you so much .It's times like these when you realize just how blessed you are .My family and friends have been so supportive to me and it has given me a lot of strength .I'm going to go rest a bit and i will post more later I just want to thank you all so much for being here for me

I forgot to tell you I drove down to Springfield last Friday night for my son's football game! The drive wasn't that bad. We took the back roads the entire way.


I am so glad you are home - stay in bed and get some rest. You are about to get some showers... nice day for a movie and rest!

I'm glad to hear that you are ok.  I'm so sorry that you were in the hospital, how long were you there?  What did they find out.  I was in the hospital and saw the gastro guy too so I hope you are doing well.  Praying that you will feel better soon!
