Pain in the knee

I get a sharp pain on the inner part of the knee. It'll last for a couple seconds to minutes. Horrible sharp pain. I've had it since I was around eight years old. I'm eighteen now and it still comes and goes. Someone please help.

Thanks so much. I was hoping someone on here knew what i was talking about, maybe experience the same problem. Hopefully I will figure out this problem soon.

I'm sorry we are not doctors here nor have the experience to diagnose.  I do suggest that with the little bit of history you just told us that you need to make a doctors appointment, maybe get an xray or ct scan of your knee since it's so painful.
