Pain

Can celebrex and vicodin be safely taken together for pain?  Thank you.

Yes, I've taken both together in the past, however, it's always best to double check with your doctor, especially if it is different doctors prescribing the meds.

I take both together. So in my case yes. I don't know your story and I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you if you can take them together.

I would say you need to check with your doctor & also a knowledgeable pharmacist as to whether they can be taken simultaneously (if both have been prescribed for you) - your doctor should have records of how your kidneys and liver are doing, as well as take your age into consideration & the pharmacist is highly trained in the realm of medications and when they can be taken.  May I say, that while recovering from a laporotomy surgery, I had a gyn doctor stagger my doses of ibuprofen and darvocet & did not have me take them at the same time.
