The best thing to do is call your doctor and see if that would be ok.

I read online that Mirapex is for Parkinson's or RLS Syndrome.... I do not think it is a pain reliever like morphine.  Good luck... hope you feel better.

When you give us more info please let us know if you are a Parkinson's patient and also what is the diagnosis that you have from the Dr. for you.

We just have to have more info than what you have given.

Thanks....Sherry

Hi Mhwillias,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum.  I'm glad that  you have found us here. You need to understand that there are NO Doctors on here at all!! We are only CP (Chronic Pain) Patients that share our knowledge to help other people that are searching for answers.

As for your question, I don't think that ANY ONE on here will be willing to give you ANY type of an OK to substitute one med for another. You need to contact your Dr. and ask them. If you can't reach them call the ER or ask your Pharmacist.

I don't mean to sound rude at all but I'm not qualified in ANY way to give you a yes or no on something like that. I don't think that any one else here is willing to stick there necks out either expecially since you gave absolutely no background or any specifics on what is going on.

I'm really sorry. Maybe if you gave us some more information someone might be willing to give some sort of information. It's worth a try.

Good Luck....Sherry
