Thanks a lot i will make a appointment back at the fracture clinic thanks for your advice (Pat)
Hi Ganny,
I am sorry to hear the results of your wrist fracture. It must be painful for you.
The "burning" and "electrical shock" sensations you are experiencing are most likely due to nerve involvement. You may have a damaged or inflamed nerve... or it may even be entrapped. The "bump" may be scar tissue caused from the injury or surgery.
If it were my wrist I would insist on an MRI. A second opinion may be beneficial too. That second opinion would be a consult with a physician that specializes in treating wrist injuries/conditions.
I'll look forward to hearing from you again and wish you the very best.
Good Luck,
~Tuck
