Hi!
If you had the myelogram procedure done three months back then if the numbness is still persisting you must inform your doctor immediately. Usually the numbness is transient. However, if it persists then arachnoiditis or inflammation of one of the membranes surrounding the spinal cord and spinal nerve should be ruled out immediately. If arachnoiditis is the cause of numbness then it is difficult to treat.
Other possibility is that the numbness is not related to the procedure. In this case the symptoms could be due to pinched spinal nerves. Do discuss this with your neurologist and get yourself examined. Take care!
The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
You should go get checked by your dr. It is very rare but possible that you had an injury to the nerve. You may also have damage in your back causing a nerve to be pinched. Best wishes, Sissie
