Please see my response on your other post regarding your knee pain.

Sandee has offered you a good suggestion. See your surgeon, discuss this pain with him.  If he dismisses your symptoms than obtain a second opinion. Life is too short to live in misery.

If your in pain then it is real and not in your head. Have you told your doctor/surgeon that your still having alot of pain?
You should make an appointment and have the test done that is needed as you may have something that needs to be treated after the surgery.
Do not live in pain as it is not necessary. Make the appointment and see what is going on:)
