Tendon problems can be very painful and difficult to treat and heal. Ten months is a long time to have tendon pain. Is it tendinitis?
Have you had a MRI?

Hi Jack,
Welcome back. I see that you pain continues and I am sorry for that. I also see from your other community posts that you have seen a physician. Can you share with us what diagnosis he/she gave you?
I also see that a physician prescribed Arthrotec for you. Arthrotec is used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in people at high risk for developing stomach or intestinal ulcers. Both conditions can be extremely painful which explains the symptoms you are experiencing. Have you began the medication yet? It may take some time before you see the benefits. Some times NSAID's need to "build up" in your system before they are truly effective.
Hope you will soon be feeling better soon.
Peace, Tuck
It sounds like you may need an MRI on your back. Disc problems up by the neck and shoulders can cause this type of pain.
You should make an appointment with an Orthopedist.
