constant pain in both arms

I have pain in both my arms for 4 days now its a constant muscle ache like cramps. I have tried pain relievers like tylenol, ibprophen 800, and muscle relaxers and nothing helps at all. I also have pain in both my knees. Does anybody have any clue what this could be I am getting so tired of this I go to sleep with it and wake up with it I can't take it much longer.

I am 34 and I have a lot of back pain and muscle spasms but have not been diagnosed with anything. I have a doctors app today at 4 so hopefully we can figure something out.

Hi Asteeves,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am so very sorry to hear about your constant and increasing pain.

When you talk about pain in more then one location it may be a systemic problem rather a specific one location issue. I don't know your general age which can play a part in the possible medical conditions. Do you have DDD (Degenerative Disc Disease) or RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis)?

I encourage you to consult your PCP and be assertive. Insist on answers. You shouldn't have to "take it much longer."  If he/she has no answers then consult another physician or a PMP (Pain Management Physician).

I wish you the best and am sorry I don't have specific answers for you. Please know that you are not alone. Many of us experience Chronic Pain on a daily basis.... but most of us have a diagnosis. You deserve that also.

I hope you will keep in touch with us. I'll look forward to hearing from you again soon. If you care to add to your initial post please feel free to do so. Best of luck to you.

Peace,
~Tuck
