Hi,
I suggest you speak to your Doctor about Lyrica. It has been great for me. I could not handle the nerontin at all !
The Lyrica is a finely tuned nerontin I am told by my Doctor. It is worth a try to discuss it with your Doctor or Pharmacist as Tuckamore said:)

Hello Ammmy,

Welcome to MedHelp's Pain Management Forum.

It's difficult to suggest a specific medication for several reasons. I think your best bet it is to discuss this with your Pharmacist. They are the true experts in this area.

Medications often act differently with different ppl. In other words what is effective for me, may not be effective for you. Many ppl find Gabapentin effective, you did not. It's also true that sometimes  It usually takes a while for our systems to adjust to a new medication... or to find the correct dosage. Sometimes our system just does not tolerate a specific drug.

So again I encourage you to discuss this with your Pharmacist or even your Physician. I wish you the best and hope you will let us know how you are doing.

Take Care,
~Tuck
