You won't hsee any problem.
Tuck gave you great advice. She always does.
I think many of us have either been through this or will go through this in the future. We need to have a back up plan with our pain Drs for when this does happen. They should okay an out of town prescription if it's a chain pharmacy. Or, they should find one close to where we're going to be and okay that. It's bad enough that we have this pain but we're kind of tied to our home towns because of refills and possibly being called in for a random test and pill count.
I hope everything worked out for you too. Give us an update when you get the chance.
Just wondering how your RX fill turned out.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yes I use Cvs and its been 28 days since my last refill. I will just bite the bullet and just drive into town and see what they say!! Thank you sincerely for the reply
Hello Army Mom,
Welcome.
Normally a chain pharmacy will fill an opiate RX in 28 days from your last fill. It does vary pharmacy by pharmacy.
That said - you really don't have a valid RX till 12/14. Do you use a chain pharmacy? If so call the pharmacy you normally use and ask them if they will fill it today - or if it can be filled in Virginia. You may feel better if they give you the name and number of the pharmacy in Virginia and you can call them personally.
I can fill between two states as long as I remain in the same pharmacy chain. I wish you the best and hope you'll share with us what you discover - when you have a moment.
Have a safe journey.
