pain in legs and joints including wrists

for the past few days I've been experiencing pains in my joints and bones / muscles from my hips to my toes as well as my wrists and back at times. The pains are extremely bad and I feel like what I've been taking ( ibuprofen ) isn't helping at all. I've had back problems in the past. ( got pregnant back to back and during the second pregnancy had gained too much weight too fast for my height ~ 4'11'' / 70 pounds gained ~ and developed sciatica as well as a bulging disk. ) I went through tractions and physical therapy and in the past 8 months had lost around 30 pounds ~ the rest of my baby weight ( it's been 3 1/2 years since given birth to the youngest ) I haven't been in  pain like this since then ( pregnancy and post pregnancy ) and I don't know what's wrong. I don't have insurance and am a stay st home mother, so going to the doctor is nearly impossible at this time. If there's anything you could think of to help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hello. I really agree with the others. You must get into the Doctor and let them evaluate you. There are simple tests that the Doc can do to determine if you have Fibromyalgia. Unfourtunalty, there is not a cure for the disease, only pain control. Good luck with everything.

I know how it is to have children and need to go to the Dr :)
Have you tried Glucosamine Chondroitin it can sometimes help but keep in mind it will take a week or so to get into your system and start working effectively.
Do you or have you ever had any kind of arthritis? You should try and get to the Dr so you can have this looked at properly though.

First let me say I am sorry for your pain. All of us here at pain management forum can relate.

Your disc may be acting up again though that would not explain the wrists. I'm assuming when you say you are having pain in your joints, muscles and bones you are talking about all over pain. If it's only been a few days and you may be experiencing a virus. At least we can hope that is the case and you will soon be feeling better. I know this doesn't sound like much but warm baths due help my pain. If IB isn't helping you there are other OTC meds that also have the anti inflammatory properties. I consider changing your OTC medication.

I do not have Fibro but I know many people that do as well as many ppl at MH. You may have Fibro but I wll let other members that can speak to that better answer you. It is early and others will be posting soon.

Please let us know how you are doing. Someone is here for you just about 24 hours per day. Take care. Tuck
