Pain in ribs and head

For over 6 months I have been getting sharp pains in my ribs, sometimes my ribs feel really tight and I find it hard to breath and sometimes its sharp stabbing pains or they just ache, they have become more regular recently, lasting for days. Recently I've been getting regular really sharp headaches, a constant sharp pain in the right side of my head if I cough or move too quickly. I also feel dizzy and sick. What could this be?

Hi!
A headache aggravated by coughing or moving the head can be due to ear problems, benign intracranial hypertension or due to pinched spinal nerves in the neck. All these can make you feel dizzy as well. Since you have constant pain in ribs, anemia should also be looked into. Severe anemia can make you dizzy, and also cause headaches.  Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.

Hi kitkat95,

I just read your comments. I don't know what this could be, but you're
experiencing a lot of pain throughout your body. If you haven't already
made a doctor's appointment, I'd make one and tell your doctor what's
going on. Your symptoms are of concern. Good luck with this. Eve :)
