    First let me say that your questions are very common and I want you to know you deserve the best treatment possible. You are paying for treatment of this terrible disease so get your moneys worth and acuallty get some relief.
It is definatly time to start looking for a new doctor. Most pain management doctors will treat fybromyalgia. They tend to treat it more effectivly in my opinion. thhey also will try new things to find out what treatment is best for you.
Ask your doctor to refer you to a PM doctor and see what he/she has to offer you as far as options. I am sure you will be pleased having a say in how your treated.

Help, I am in despirate need to talk to someone who can help me. I have been diagnosed with severe fibromialgia about a year and a half ago. I am seeing a rheumotologist and he has me on amytriptolyn and darvocet. I have been doing fine but now I am getting immuned to the darvocet. He refuses to try something else and will not prescribe an increase in dose. He is beginning to treat me like I am a nuisance. I mean my friends say that trying something different could help.

Good answers. One who is looking for recreational drugs need not post, but if your in pain and need assistance then please post your question better. Alot of newcomers will list what problems they are having and then ask where to go from there. If we do not know if your in pain or just simply looking for drugs then we can't effectively help you.

I don't understand your question. Are you in pain? If you are looking for recreational perscription drugs you have come to the wrong place. If you suffer from chronic pain you need to discuss this with your physician.

You cant just get them you need to see your doctor and it's up to them if they feel that your pain is worth being on them, they are for people who have long term chronic pain....
