One of the medications is Metformin being taken to control blood sugar levels
because of Type II Diabetes.  Also take Wayfarin because of heart arrythmias and
Cardivedilol.  Metformin may have side effects of muscle aches but this is more
recent problem and pain travels in upper extremities (arms).  Also notice pain
behind knees which is probably arthritis.

Hi Phil,

Welcome to the Pain Management Community of MedHelp. We really do need more information to respond to your question. Sometimes medications can contribute to generalized aching and pain....or the wrong combination can cause it also.

We'll look forward to hearing from you again.

Take Care,
Tuck
