really bad lower abdominal pain???

I have a really bad pain in my lower right abdomen and it keeps moving side to side but it's mostly in the right. I also have some gas. I'm not sure if it's constipation, gas, or somehting much worse. Please help!

Please discuss this with your parents. At 14 you should not have this type of pain. Your parents may want you to see a gastroenterologist. Please be sure they know how much pain you are experiencing.

Best of luck to you.

PS-- for constipation problems make sure you drink LOTS OF WATER and possibly try a mild laxative or enema if its been a reallly long time since youve gone.

well at first i thouhgt maybe your appendix because it is in your lower right quadrant..but the fact that the pain is moving from right to left doesnt fit right for that. It probably IS just gas and/or constipation (how long has it been...since you know??...lol.)  Go buy some extra strength GAS EX. I swear by that stuff, it really helps. No other OTC medicine IVe seen for "stomach troubles" has the stuff in it that helps gas that I know of. A lot of people mistaken Pepto, Mylanta and the likes for helping with pain like that but they dont have the anti-gas agent in it.  Hope you feel better soon.
PS if the pain doesnt get better in a day or two, or gets severely worse, go to the Dr.
