thank you so much for the reply, some things can be taken off of the list since I have had a total hysterectomy a heart stress test. I also went through menopause a few years back and the doctor said that happened because I had a hysterectomy at such a young age (29).My pain level is at at 10 most of the time. My elbow, hands, neck, back, knees ankles and feet. I have only two test that showed anything below normal and one was calcium level was very low and I had a positive ANA but when it was rechecked the ANA was normal. If you look at the symptoms for MS or Rheumatoid arthritis but none of the test for those deseases are abnormal. It seems like as the years go by these doctors know physically I am getting worse but they just do not have any answers. thank you
Hi!
If your whole body swells up then there are a few things that need to be looked into. I understand you have been through a number of tests. Please go through this list and see if something has been missed. Generalized body edema (or swelling) can be very serious. It can be due to severe anemia, a failing heart, serious kidney disease, liver failure or disorder, electrolyte imbalance, polycystic ovary, low protein in the blood, and disorders of adrenal gland. Other than this, at your age it can be hormonal imbalance due to menopause. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
