Congrat!!! I detoxed 6 months ago from oxy on my own, what a nightmare, but my dosage was higher.Agree with sandee1818,should be easier with the Norco.
Definitely keep us up to date, wish you the best!!!!!

Just got back from ER,everything went great, the doctors were wonderful and took the
time to research what they didn't know, called my dr. in the states, gave me a shot to help break the cycle and filled 3 presc. all for less than 200 us dollars!!!! Love hongkong!! Will be checking up with me in 48hrs.

You have detoxed from the oxycontin so you will have an easier time with the Norco I believe. You should taper off of them slowly. The SA community can give you a taper schudule that will help as well as other suggestions. We are not insinuating your addicted at all. The SA community deals with this daily and knows more when it comes to tapering and detoxing.
Let us know how your doing:)

Hi Mia,

Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum. I am glad that you found us and posted.

I am sorry that you are struggling through detox. Please know that you are always welcome here but the Substance Abuse Forum will have better information and guidance for you on this subject.

That is not to say that I beleive for a minute that you have a Substance Abuse issue. It's just that they have personal experience and more knowledge than this forum.

I am sorry that I do not have any good knowledge on detox or withdrawal. It may be that others on the forum have suggestions for you. I wish you the very best.

Take Care,
Tuck
