Hello Airbrushkid,

I am so sorry that this has happened to you also. As you can see by another poster this is not uncommon. There seems to be no recourse for failed or inaccurate drug screens. PM patients are dismissed seemingly without a second thought.

You should begin your search for another PMP. If your record has been good to this point it should not be impossible to find one. However the process is long. It usually takes weeks, sometimes up to 2 months to obtain an appointment. So don't hesitate.

As I told the other poster there are statistics that claim up to a 60-70% inaccuracy rate of the urine drug screens. There are multiple reasons for a failed drug test one some unknown and one being human error. Your PMP should allow you a month's supply of medications to avoid patient abandonment .

Suboxone is not a pain management medication. It is usually prescribed for addiction and withdrawal. It makes no sense that you would be taking it. My guess is your urine was mixed up with some one elses.

Again I am so sorry that this has happened to you. If it's any comfort you are not alone. Please keep in touch with us and let us know how you are doing. Best of luck to you.

Peace,
Tuck
