how to handle your 10 year old son's bad and violent thoughts
10year old son, vey sweet , well manner d and smart having bad and violent thoughts , like he likes girls, see them naked, thinks they are taking shower with him, etc.On top of that although he is very bright student he was crying today and said mom , in my imaginaion I was shooting you with a gun .This is the first time ever he talked like that, We never ever have a gun or any weapon in our house ,when I had a talk with him , he seemed ok and happy after talking. please help , how serious is this. what should I do?????
I wasn't thinking of puberty. There are some sports powders that are pretty borderline as far as safety that can make someone's thoughts go kind of wacko. Anyway, if he were my son, I'd get him to a child psychologist right away.
Get him evaluated. I'd want to rule out schizophrenia, is it possible at all that he has been taking any drugs (including things to improve sports performance)?
