also if you think that it's medical not emotional or bordom or something you may consider looking at the possiblity of getting a TSH I think it's a the right test for the thyroid gland.  I don't know if it's medical though cuz there is limited information.  My kids are outside alot and I allow them to eat "junk food" but they must first eat their meal ie after lunch or dinner.  Not tons but they are allowed to have treats but they will run around outside for hours climbing trees playing badmitten volleyball and all.  they are 9 7 4 and 2.

Hi its late to post this but I noticed no one had, Your Daughter can only eat what you buy in,dont by food that is bad to eat in the House,or does she do her own shopping??Eating constantly wont hurt if its veg and fruit and lean protein, if you are worried about the tics get it checked at the Docs, very often kids and even adults eat if they are sad about something ,its a way of self medicating, get her interested in Walking , Do you Walk, do you do sports? and fill the fridge with wonderful goodies, they are the cheapest food now anyway,Dont Buy Any  Cakes ,Cookies, Chips, Pies or Puddings get her a book to read on Nutrition and kids there a ton out there, and Hey if you or someone close has a weight Problem Have a contest to see who can loose the Most ,not by starving but by eating a ton of the good things you are going to put in the Fridge. If her Dad objects and has to have Junk get him his own Fridge and lock it and give him eht eKey Good Luck.
