lol....i don't have much experience with boys lol, but i'm sure when this one comes, i'll learn lol
yea, i really don't think there's anything rude about nuts...hahahahha
i guess by not nice(if i'm the one who said it idk), is that it is ok to ask that at home, to mommy and daddy, but not to say those things around people you don't know....does that make sense?!
Tell him "nothing at the moment, but when you get older they start making the stuff that makes babies".
And for goodness sakes don't give him any of that "not nice language" rubbish. Whatever the right wingers may say there's nothing intrinsically wrong with talking about body parts in a private situation and in trusted company, which is all he's been doing. Nothing rude about the word nuts either!
hehe, nice to see a familiar face!
may i ask how he even heard that term? and why he would even think something is in there? i wouldnt go about explaining it yet, but i would def suggest explaining to him that's not nice language.....does he ride the bus? i wonder if older boys on the bus are talking and he hears it.....i'd def have the reaction your DH did, it'd be kinda funny at 1st, b/c of the "surprise" question lol....i actually laughed when i read it....but at 6, i'd think i'd rather learn more of where he is learning things, and then discuss them with him.....then again at 6, rather than have the medical talk about things, do the whole "where babies come from".....obviously he knows daddy and mommy made him, and you had babies in your belly....explain "baby dust" lol.....my df's daughter asked something similar, but it was much easier telling her that after she gets married, she'll have babies, and that her "babies will live in her belly, and then her *privates* are how they arrive"....strangely, she is really smart, so although she doesnt grasp the sex and childbearing thing, she understood that part....her new explanation to people is "babies just grow in your belly, and then they fall out so they can sleep in a bed when they're old enough"....so i'm content, and df thought it was funny how simply i put it and how simply she said it.....of course, at 5, i didnt tell her HOW the baby gets in there, and thankfully she didnt ask.....haha
