MY oldest son didn't get his first tooth until he was 11 3/4 mos. old. It was not an issue.
REally? I am so relieved....I hope she gets hers soon as I'm getting pretty worried....And i pray that everything else works out with her bottom......thanks...
A couple in our church had a son who didn't get his first tooth until he was 13 months old. The dentist said that the longer they go before erupting, the less amount of time they are exposed to possibility of cavities.
Good luck to you
I wouldn't worry too much about your little one's teeth because all babies develop at different speeds. Concerning her bottom, that could just honestly be a small birth defect that may need minimal correction. If your doctors are not overly concerned at this point then for now I say trust in their abilities until given any reason not to. My nephew was born with his tongue completely attached to the bottom of his little mouth because that piece of skin that is connected from the bottom of your tongue to the base of your mouth had grown all the way to the end of his tongue. He couldn't even stick his tongue out at all, but when he got to be a toddler the doctors went in and snipped it and now he is perfectly fine. I know that this is a different part of the body than what you are concerned about with your daughter but my point is that sometimes babies have extra skin or growth where they shouldn't and with a little time it can be fixed with no side effects. I pray this is the case with your little one. God bless.
My daughter also has had what is called a vaginal adhesion. It is very common, but It MUST be treated because they can develop severe uti's because they are not able to pass all of the urine. It is treated with a small amount of Premarin cream three times daily until it opens up. It does work and the babies have no side effects from the cream since it is such a small amount. You need to insist that your doctor treats this. As far as her not having any teeth, that is completely normal. Neither one of mygirls got teeth tillafter their first birthday, then they started coming in all at once.
I have a niece that had the same; vaginal adhesion. momoftenwins is right. All it takes is a little cream and it will eventually open up. My niece's mom, however didn't discover this untill she was 3. Now my niece is just fine: a little time and a little cream did the trick.
