Cranial Asymmetry Measurement

Hello,

I would like to know if there are "standard" parameters (indicators, coefficients, techniques, etc) used for clinical purposes, that characterize plagiocephaly? When a skull is normal (symmetrical, according to some) and when it is not?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

I will refer you to this site    www.cranialtech..com/index.php?option=com_content...  this site has pictures of Baby's heads..  it is also known as Flat Head Syndrome literally it means oblique head 'It occurs when a baby's head develops a flat spot due to pressure on that area baby's are vulnerable because their skull is soft and pliable when they are born .
