Farsightedness in Toddlers

My 2 year old is extremely farsighted & has been wearing glasses since age of 1. She goes to a pediatric opthamologist every 3 months & has already had to increase her prescription once over the past year. Lately, shes been runbbing her eyes alot & the past couple days shes been rubbing them & crying that her eyes hurt.
Could this be a sign that her eyes are getting worse?
How farsighted can someone be? can it lead to blindness if it gets too bad?
Were hoping her eyes will get better but so far they have not

Thanks so much for your comment. Im hoping thats the case rather than ehr eyes getting worse.
She did get soap in her eyes last weekend while with the babysitter & it seems since then her eyes have been bothering her. Hopefully that didnt hurt her eyes. THe babysitter said she washed my daughters eyes out real good.
Im just nervous about going to the dr Thursday, praying for good news but not optimistic :(

I do know that there are a lot of allergies around this year and eyes sting and smart, all the same it maybe a good idea to have them looked at by your opthamologist
