Hyperopia

My 5 yo daughter has recently been diagnosed with hyperopia (+3,50 in both eyes). She also has slight strabismus. I hav e been told hyperopia is usually self corrective and eye accomodates at age of circa 10-14.
Should I give her glasses, or take risk and wait ofr condition to become better ?
If i do not give her glasses, will condition deteriorate ?
What will be effect on her life qualioty if I do not give glASSES?
