Reoccuring leg and back pain along with fever

I have a six year old son who is suffering with fever between 101 to 104 along with back and leg pain.  This occurs every 4 to 5 weeks and has been going on for almost a year and a half.  When we take him to his Doctor she finds nothing wrong with him.  They always give him and flu, strep, urine and blood test but it always comes back normal.  We were sent to an infectious disease doctor about 8 months go and she wasn't much help either only giving us Claritin for allergies so we have also had an allergy test done and he does not have any.  Were waiting on a referral to Cook's Children Hospital but until then can anyone offer any advice or recommendations?

Oh, and forgot to mention that an ANA test might reveal something if it's some sort of autoimmune disorder causing the problem.

Might want to have him rechecked for allergies, specifically high histamine (IgE). The constant high histamine levels can cause autoimmunity! Does the claritin help? If so, then I would have to say something is going on with his histamine level/immune system.
