Toddler Stool

My son has not been sick, and has been eating well. Today when he pooped it was a light green color and was rather slimy. When I checked him, he had also pooped mucus. He seemed fine. About 2.5 hours later he pooped again, lesser amount but still greenish, only this time with little black dots and not as slimy. I got him ready for bed and shortly after he threw up a little of his dinner. It almost smelled the same as the stool ( very different smelling). What could this be? This is the first time it happens.

What has he eaten the last couple of days, how old is he ? it does sound food related ,
