headaches

my 11 yr old daughter has had a constant headache for about 2 weeks. She is slightly congested but the headache seems to move. 1 minute is in the temple and then it later will move to her forehead or in front of her ear near her jaw. It is a sharp pain that is stronger sometimes than others. We just cant figure out what is causing it?

They sound like tension headaches,is she due to sit exams in school or move schools soon,it could also be a hormone change going on as her age is when most do start their periods and things.

Does your daughter wear braces or did she have braces?  Sometimes this can cause shifts in jaw alignment and send pain in several directions.
