mum cf carrier like son partner is rare cf carrier

my  8mth old son is a cf carrier, we took him to hospital last night with a temp of 40 and he has tonsilitis and his blood pressure was 180. they did not tell me much and he is also constipated they took blood which came  back clear and put a body thing on him, he has now been referred back to see someone next week what could be wrong? he also has salty skin but the genetic team say my son only has a carrier gene of cf will he haveany symptons throughout his life similar to a full cf carrier?
