night terrors? pain?

I am sorry if this has nothing to do with sleep. But we are just not sure at the moment.
Ok about 2 weeks ago my 9yo daughter started having severe pain in her lower right abdomen. When I say pain I mean screaming doubling over excrutiating pain. It is on a time clock. always starts between 6 and 8pm. It can last off and on all night long sometimes til 2 or 3 am sometimes later than that. Her body finally gives up and crashes.

We have had her in the ER 2X. They have ran all blood tests, urinalists, CT's and xrays. They say there is nothing wrong with her.
She has had no fever, vomiting, diareah(sp), has regular bowel movements.

Now for my question.  Could she not be wanting to fall asleep? Maybe night terrors. Which she has never woken up crying or screaming with them. Could her brain be manifesting a pain signal to keep her awake.
This may sound way out there but we had a friend suggest it. We are going crazy here. It is every night. And we want her pain to go away but do not know what to do. Oh and the pain will not subside with medication. They gave her demerol in the ER and when that started working it made her sleep for a very brief time. Then we were back at same point again. They sent her home with Tylenol with Codeine and it does absolutley nothing.
Thank you for any input
Heather

What is she like at school is all well there? Does she watch anything scary on TV that would upset her, or the computer .Take her back to the Doctor for further tests if it continues ..good luck
