Hello,
In lens replacement eye surgery, your eye's natural lens is replaced with an artificial one to achieve sharper focus. But it is advisable to discuss about the same with an eye specialist before going in for this procedure. It may cause redness, irritation, inflammation of the iris, thinning of corneal tissue, cataracts or even decreased vision or loss of eyesight.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
