tummy tuck problems

I had a full tummy tuck in August of 2008....some complications followed with drainage,
and I had to be aspirated about 7 times with a needle.  It has now been a year and I am
left with a huge bulge just above the belly button.  It is hideous, and my doctor says he
does not know what it is and he has never run across this type of probelm.  He says he
needs to consult some colleagues about this.  What could it be, and what should I do??

I too have what you're describing. Post op 6 mo. and doc said not recovered yet. Saw another doc today unrelated to surgery and she said it could be a hernia. She did a quick bedside ultra sound and said it is not fluid. What did yours turn out to be? Thanks for your help
