19 year old with continuous ovarian cysts

For the last 2 years now, I have been dealing with ongoing ovarian cysts that don't seem to go away. I have had 3 surgeries within the last 2 years to remove ovarian cysts as well as a post-op infection in 2005. This past December 2007, I went in for my third surgery involving cysts (i had 1 ovarian cyst and one mass). Within the last 2 years, i have had well over 10 cysts. To be quite honest, at this point.. it's really too hard to even keep track of how many I have had. With each surgery, my doctors have taken out 2 cysts, both cysts measuring well over 7cm's each time. Now, 3 months after my 3rd surgery, I am beginning to feel pain again (nothing that I can't handle).. nothing nearly as bad as before but it scares me that this thing that has plagued me for the last 2 years will never leave me alone. I have a doctors appointment on Friday with my gynecologist and I don't know if she is going to want to do an ultrasound. I feel like over the last 2 years, my doctors have just been focusing on the fact that I have cysts but not why I'm getting them. They cause horrendous pain and the last 2 years of my life have been a living hell. Please, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm really scared that now 3 months after my 3rd surgery, I might have another cyst. I want them to stop noticing that I'm getting these cysts and start figuring out why I'm getting them. Please help!

Hope and Faith to all

Thank you so much for your post. I really appreciate it! I believe I have been tested for that actually. About 2 years ago when all of this started happening i was sent for a cystoscopy to examine the bladder and nothing came up, everything was normal. I'm pretty sure that they looked for that as well, at least thats what I would imagine. I actually just began seeing a naturopath to build up my immune system because it is so shot from all of the medications i am on and all of the surgeries and antibiotics and she wants to test me for poly cystic ovarian syndrome, she is concerned that is what I might have. In the last 2 years I have gained some weight, along with some other symptoms, such as some hair growth. Has anyone experienced the exact scenario that is going through PCOS?  I'm going to get tested for it on Wednesday and should get the results within 2 weeks so we'll see. These last 2 years have been a long hard battle... the kinds of things we have to go through:(..
If anyone has any advice or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated...
Hope and Faith to all,

i had a simualr problem recently i had a laproscopy done to remove a cyst right after having one burst on me which is very painful, two after the removal i had another one come up the only option i had since the hormones didnt work it was progesterin theripy have u tried that? well anyways it didnt work and i was in horrible pain so the only option for me was to have the overy removed, they also diagnosed me with interstatial cystitis which is in the bladder but can cause cyst on the overies its worth looking into so you dont have to  have your overy removed just to have a semi normal life l;ike i did good luck and keep me posted
